Smaller Ice Jigs -On some waters where small fish are the norm, using a tiny ice jig tipped with a waxworm isnt out of the question

In the winter and early spring, I can slowly twitch my rod, creating a natural and subtle look that helps trigger sluggish bass into biting

Assuming for example that you try this with a 24kg rig, you should find the difference between the smooth and steady pull and the more abrupt vigorous pull will be up to about 50%, which is a huge variation

I've fished baits down to the s waver 168, I don't love it for the 168 I feel like it's a little too much rod for it, but the s-waver 200 is great on it or anything around that 3oz range with trebles, I've fished baits up to the 8" BBZ-1 floater on it, handled it okay but that's about as heavy as I would go and that's kinda pushing it with this guy, it would be wise to step up to the 806 for the BBZ or anything around 4oz
