Bates: Bates Fishing Co
When testing, Im listening to that subtle hum of the bearings during the cast, feeling the performance of a carbon fiber drag system under load, and evaluating how a 6.2:1 gear ratio actually translates to working a bait and fighting a fish
However, if you take a good care of your tackle, the reel in a plastic body will last long time of use as well
Deliberately overbuilt to give you the strength advantage
For the guy who wants to cast a mile, you can invest in a higher end reel and pair it to a durable rod
PLUS - you can use the exact same BFS spools and upgraded bearings (links in the Black Max section)
